U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano speaks to reporters on Friday, April 16, after she attended a roundtable discussion with university leaders hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology President Susan Hockfield. The meeting focused on ways DHS can increase collaboration with academic institutions to engage the talents of the nation’s best and brightest instructors and students — particularly in the fields of cybersecurity and science and technology research.
