Howard Johnson remembrance to be held April 14

A service to celebrate the life of the late MIT President Emeritus Howard Johnson will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, on the sixth floor of the Media Lab Complex at MIT.

The program, which is open to the MIT community, will be followed by a reception with Johnson's family, friends and colleagues.

Johnson, who drew upon his management acumen to guide the Institute during the tumultuous late 1960s, died Saturday, Dec. 12, at the age of 87.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Howard W. and Elizabeth W. Johnson Fund at MIT.
