MIT responds to Senate request for tuition, financial aid and endowment figures

The Institute has responded to a request from the US Senate Committee on Finance for information on MIT's endowment spending policies and commitment to financial aid. Senator Max Baucus and Senator Charles Grassley wrote to MIT and 135 other colleges and universities requesting information related to endowment growth and college costs. President Hockfield's response letter, and a copy of MIT's answers to the Senators' questions, are available online.
