Tonight: The John Carlson Lecture

Professor John Wettlaufer of Yale University will give this year's public outreach lecture on climate science, sponsored by the Lorenz Center, today from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the New England Aquarium.

Wettlaufer is one of the world's leading authorities on the physics of ice and its role in climate. He will speak on "Sea Ice, Climate, and Observational Mathematics." For more information, visit: http://web.mit.edu/lorenzcenter/activities/.

The John Carlson Lecture communicates exciting new results in climate science to the general public. Free of charge and open to the general public, the lecture is made possible by a gift from MIT alumnus John H. Carlson to the Lorenz Center at MIT.
