The MIT Excellence Awards acknowledge the extraordinary efforts made by members of our community toward fulfilling the goals, values, and mission of the Institute. This is among the highest honors awarded to staff by MIT. Professionalism, commitment to best practices, and high standards of excellence are at the heart of these awards.
Today, Wednesday, March 6 at 3 p.m. in the Kresge Auditorium, this year's recipients will be honored. A reception will follow in the Kresge lobby from 4-5 p.m. The MIT community is invited, please join us to celebrate!
The 2013 recipients of the MIT Excellence Awards represent many areas of the Institute and perform all types of jobs. Whether they are working behind the scenes or on the front lines, each is an exemplary role model for the entire MIT community. The work they do may be done within their own department or may involve cross-functional teamwork in several departments and/or organizations outside of MIT.
