From idea to impact — collaborating to meet global energy challenges

The eighth annual MIT Energy Conference will take place this year on March 1-2. David Crane, NRG president and CEO, and Bill Richardson, former governor and energy secretary, will deliver this year’s keynote addresses.

Friday’s program will commence on the MIT campus with an opening plenary panel to frame key issues in today's critical energy challenges and carry forward to selected in-depth panels. On Friday evening, the Energy Showcase at the Boston Park Plaza Castle will feature a free exhibit of innovative and breakthrough energy technologies from start-up companies and academic research.

Saturday’s ticketed conference will take place in the Westin Copley Place, providing greater opportunities to discover some of MIT’s newest innovations, connect with energy leaders, and participate in discussions on cutting-edge industry trends. Also featured is an interactive "idea storm" to unite industry experts, policymakers, and students to formulate powerful, productive ideas in the face of a rapidly changing industry.
