Generator Dinner

Working on a project to help underserved communities? Need funding? Want to recruit new members for your IDEAS Global Challenge team? Want to get involved, but don't yet have an idea?

Join us for dinner on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Lobdell Dining Room, W20-208 in the second floor of the Stratton Student Center. (RSVP here.) Four alumni winning teams from the MIT IDEAS Global Challenge will share their progress and tips:
  • Mario Bollini with the Leveraged Freedom Chair: Developed an all-terrain wheelchair that is being deployed in India and is a recent winner of MassChallenge
  • Arlene Ducao with OpenIR: Mapping ecological and risks revealed by infrared satellites for planners to use around the world
  • Morgan O'Neill with Recovers.org: Helping towns recover after a disaster, Recovers.org is recent winner of MassChallenge
  • Vitor Pamplona with EyeNetra: Working to improve eye care diagnostics by making eye exams portable and more affordable for doctors around the world
The evening will also feature two recruitment open mic sessions to help teams form. Sign up to pitch an idea.
