Fill a Cruiser

On Friday, Dec. 13, the men and women of the MIT Police Department, and other community volunteers, will collect some much needed items for those in need in the Cambridge community.

Volunteers for the Fill a Cruiser donation drive will be collecting items at the following locations and times:
  • E62 plaza, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (receive a free coupon for a free coffee with every donation from 100 Main Marketplace café)
  • Student Center Plaza, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Items needed (by the Salvation Army and CASPAR) are:
  • Winter hats and gloves — adult size, female and male (must be new)
  • Socks — white tube socks
  • Blankets – new or lightly used, but must be clean
  • Towels and face cloths – must be new
  • Toiletries and feminine hygiene products (if you have unused, travel-size products, those are greatly accepted. Please put them in a clear, zipped bag.)
