Lady Barbara Judge, chairman emeritus of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, will deliver the 2013 David J. Rose Lectureship in Nuclear Technology from 4-5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4 in E51-115.
The David J. Rose Lecture was established in December 1984 in honor of Professor David J. Rose (1922-85), a renowned professor of nuclear engineering at MIT who dedicated his career to the study of energy resources and their impact on the environment, fusion technology, nuclear waste management, and ethical questions arising from advances in science and technology.
