The Program in Polymer Science and Technology (PPST) and PPST Graduate Student Association (PGSA)-organized "Polymer Day" — taking place on Wednesday, March 7 — will be a half-day symposium involving the MIT polymer community that will showcase a large swath of MIT polymer research and researchers. This event has sponsorship from Cabot Corp. and Lincoln Labs.
Polymer Day starts with a poster session featuring more than 50 posters from graduate students, postdocs, and undergrads from across MIT. Snacks are provided, and a mix of students, faculty and industry will attend.
After the session winds down, there will be a series of three short talks by students highlighting current polymer research at the Institute, and a reception will follow to wrap up the event with a final opportunity for networking.
