MIT hosts Robert Lepage: 2012 McDermott Award in the Arts Recipient

Lepage campus residency April 24-26 includes two public programs, collaboration with MIT students, and a gala

Multidisciplinary media and performance artist Robert Lepage’s residency at MIT takes place from April 24-26. Lepage is the recipient of the 2012 Eugene McDermott Award in the Arts at MIT, which is among the most generous cultural honors in the United States, including a cash prize and a residency at MIT that features two public programs, collaboration with MIT students, meetings with MIT faculty and staff, and an award gala in Lepage’s honor.

Lepage will be joined by Peter Gelb, General Manager, Metropolitan Opera, in a free public program on Thursday, April 26, at 5 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium, titled "Technology in Stagecraft and Storytelling." Free tickets will be available in person on Thursday starting at 3 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium.
