Apply for a de Florez Fund for Humor grant

Yes, it's true — at MIT you can be funded for being funny.

Apply for a grant from the de Florez Fund for Humor. Each year the Fund supports projects that share the virtues of humor with the MIT community. Applications for major grants are accepted four times each year: the next deadline is October 12, 2012. Those seeking smaller grants (under $500) may apply at any time.
“A sense of humor is to an MIT student what the magic lasso is to Wonder Woman. You can survive without it, but boy does it come in handy.” — Jay Keyser, Professor of Linguistics Emeritus
