The Evolution of Engineering Systems

The annual Charles L. Miller Symposium will this year honor Professor Daniel Roos, with a symposium titled, "The Evolution of Engineering Systems: A Rich Past, an Exciting Future," from 1-5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, in Bartos Theater.

Roos, the founding director of the MIT Engineering Systems Division, is also director of the MIT Portugal Program and Japan Steel Industry Professor Emeritus of Engineering Systems and Civil and Environmental Engineering.

The event will include talks by Joseph Sussman, Robert Logcher, Nigel H.M. Wilson, Alan Altshuler, Edward Crawley, P. Christopher Zegras and Arthur Gelb.
