Tech Reunions: The Red Coats come to campus

More than 3,100 alumni and guests are set to arrive on campus June 3-6 to gather with classmates, meet new friends, and get updates on MIT priorities, research and culture during Tech Reunions 2010.

Those in red jackets, who graduated 50 or more years ago, will be particularly visible since the MIT Alumni Association president serves as marshal and the 50th reunion class, wearing red jackets for the first time, lead the graduating class into Killian Court for Commencement exercises Friday morning.

You will see alumni — with or without the red jackets — all over campus on Friday on tours and at departmental receptions and living group gatherings; on Saturday at Technology Day talks at Kresge, a luncheon to celebrate class giving, and Tech Challenge games at the stadium; and Sunday morning at Reunion Row at the Pierce Boathouse.
