MIT students are encouraged to nominate their favorite, or most influential, high school teacher for the MIT Inspirational Teacher Award. Deadline for nominations is Dec. 15.
Last year’s winners hailed from 15 different states around the country, as well as Malaysia, Canada, England and Turkey. More than 100 high school teachers have been honored since the award was inaugurated in 2007, and those who are selected receive a celebratory certificate and access to a variety of resources at MIT.
