A large Boston-area graduate student event will be thrown the night of Wednesday, March 10, at Jillian’s Boston Lucky Strike Lanes to benefit the victims of the Haitian earthquake. The event will feature free bowling and pool for attendees, as well as a lounge atmosphere and great spaces for mingling.
All proceeds will go to Partners In Health; the minimum donation required for entrance is $5 and the suggested donation is $10. Each student is allowed to bring one guest. 21-plus age ID is required, but there is no need to RSVP.
Contact events@thebglo.org with any questions.
This event is being sponsored by the Boston Graduate Leadership Organization (BGLO), a collaborative effort of the graduate student leaders of Babson, Bentley, BC, BU, Brandeis, Emerson, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Suffolk and Tufts. BGLO was formed in early 2009 and has hosted events for Boston-area graduate students with attendance of nearly 1,000 people per event.
