Freshman/Alumni Summer Internship Program (F/ASIP) enrollment now open for students and employers

Applications are now being accepted for the Freshman/Alumni Summer Internship Program (F/ASIP), a graded seminar which offers participating MIT freshmen:
  • Career exploration and development training, including self-assessment, as well as resume writing, career decision making, interviewing skills, internship search strategies and more;
  • Cultivation of professional skills, including networking, professional etiquette and communication skills;
  • Opportunities for finding a summer internship or research experience, helping students connect with MIT alumni mentors and other organizations in their area of interest.
Applications and more information are available at http://web.mit.edu/fasip. Students should apply by Dec. 20 for preferred consideration.

Many companies recruit specifically from the pool of F/ASIP program participants. If your company is interested in intelligent and prepared students who are motivated to pursue internships early in their academic career, visit http://web.mit.edu/fasip/www/NewPage/employer.shtml for details on posting your internships. Internship recruiting will be concentrated between February-April for Summer 2011.
