MIT worker injured after accident

An accident in the Stata Center Thursday morning sent an MIT Department of Facilities worker to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The worker was struck by a piece of equipment that fell over while he and several colleagues were attempting to move it to another building. The Cambridge Fire Department and MIT Police promptly responded to the incident, which is being investigated by OSHA.
