Staffer to perform Joni Mitchell songs

Singer/guitarist Keith Hampton presents an Artists Behind the Desk concert titled "Refuge: Travel Songs of Joni Mitchell," today (Wednesday, Oct. 19) at noon in Killian Hall. An administrative assistant in the Office of the Arts, Hampton began his musical studies by learning to play viola at age 9. From there he went on to learn violin, drums, marimba, piano and later guitar. His debut CD, "HOPEfire," was recognized by the Stonewall Society with a nomination for a 2003 genre award.
