Returning alumni form weekend company

MIT alumni who are convening for the theater reunion include:

Marivi Acu�a (S.B. 1996) received her M.F.A. in acting from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco in 2000, and has since been acting in New York City. Her day job is as a project coordinator for a hedge fund at a private banking company.

Richard Davis , (S.B. 1995, M. Eng.) works as a developer at The Mathworks in Natick, Mass., and occasionally teaches in the MIT High School Studies Program.

Anne Dudfield (S.B. 1995) works for Mazu Networks, a start-up out of MIT Laboratory for Computer Science.

Franz Elizondo Schmelkes (S.B. 1994, S.M.) lives in San Diego and works for Kyocera Wireless Corp. as manager of field engineering support. The last theater work he did was with the Theater of the Oppressed for Casa Latina in Seattle.

Albert Fischer (S.B. 1994, S.M., Ph.D.) is a postdoc at a dynamical oceanography and climatology lab at the University of Paris.

Monica Gomi (S.B. 1996) is a core artist with Pilgrim Theatre Research and Performance Collaborative, in residence at the Boston Center for the Arts. By day, she is the webmaster for a Boston-based real estate and investment company.

Manish Goyal (S.B. 1998, S.M.). After two years in Austin, Texas working in sales for Trilogy, Goyal returned to Boston in 1999 to found Isovia Inc., a mobile computing software company which was recently acquired by JP Mobile Inc. He is an independent consultant in two industries: enterprise information technology and film and television production.

Joanna Kulik (S.B. 1992, S.M.) is a graduate student in the computer science department at MIT, hoping to get her Ph.D. early next spring.

Carrie Morton (S.B. 1996, M.Eng.) lives in Cambridge and works as a software programmer for Carlson Software in Allston.

Paulo A. Pereira (S.B. 1995) is a customer support engineer at Teloquent Communications in Billerica. His play "Amarelo" will be produced at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth next spring.

Tara V. Perry (Class of 1998) lives in New York, where she has worked with Drama Dept., The Public/NYSF, T. Shreiber Studio and Ensemble Studio Theater. She is a member of Emerging Artists Theater.

Julia Soyer , who earned her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College in 1994, teaches drama to children at the Wings Drama Center in Wellesley. Starting this fall, she will work as a counselor and drama teacher at the Judge Baker Children's Center in Boston.

Linda Tsang (S.B. 1996) works at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in New England on drinking water protection. She has acted in a few professional Boston theater productions, most recently "Fefu and Her Friends" with Industrial Theatre.

Jennifer Tsuei (Class of 1993) is moving to California, where she will study playwriting at the California Institute of the Arts with Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks.
