Memorial Service scheduled for Samuel Goldblith

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Professor Samuel A. Goldblith, who passed away in December, will be held Tuesday, May 28 at 3 p.m. in Killian Hall (14W-111).

Goldblith was a professor of food science and technology at MIT, a leader in the field of food preservation and a tireless advocate of business and educational cooperation between the United States and Japan. He also was director of the Industrial Liaison Program from 1974-1978 and vice president for resource development from 1978-1986.
