The MIT Songwriting Club has released "Songs from the Institute," a compilation CD of works by MIT tunesmiths. Styles range from acoustic to hip-hop to electronic music and include "No Access to Building 39" by Christopher Avrich, a senior in electrical engineering and computer science. Free copies of the CD are available in Lobby 10 and at the 24-Hour Coffeehouse while supplies last.

Professor Krzysztof Wodiczko of the Department of Architecture will take part in a symposium on "Trauma and the Healing Power of Art" on Sunday, March 24, from 12 to 4:30 p.m. at the Remis Auditorium, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Hosted by the museum and the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy, the panel will explore the ways in which creative endeavors in the arts can contribute to recovery from trauma--for the creator, the observer and the clinician.
