Event examines semiconductors, MEMS

The Microsystems Technology Laboratories, together with the Industrial Liaison Program, will host Hitachi-MIT Day on Friday, Dec. 7 in the Tang Center.

The morning session, "High-Speed Semiconductor Devices" chaired by Professor Jesus A. del Alamo of electrical engineering and computer science, begins at 9:45 a.m. The afternoon session chaired by Professor Jeffrey Lang (associate director of the Laboratory for Electromagnetic and Electronic Systems), "MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS)," begins at 2 p.m.
