Giving campaign at 46% of goal

The Community Giving at MIT campaign reminds the community that its clothing and food drive runs until Friday, Dec. 15. Drop-off locations and information on what items are needed can be found on the campaign's clothing/food drive web site.

The campaign, which runs until December 29, aims to raise $350,000. As of December 4, the drive had received pledges of $161,521, or 46 percent of its goal, from 552 community members have made donations, including 32 Leadership Givers contributing at least $1,000 apiece.

Contributors may specify that their donations go to the United Way of Massachusetts Bay or any of its agencies, the MIT Community Service Fund, or any local 501(c)(3) health and human services agency not affiliated with the United Way. See the campaign web site or call x3-7914 for more information.
