In an article on National Medal of Science/Technology winners in the February 2 issue of MIT Tech Talk, the name of another MIT-affiliated winner was omitted. The late Robert Swanson (SB 1970 in chemistry, SM 1970 in management), former chairman of K&E Management, Ltd., received a National Medal of Technology for his leadership in the establishment and development of the biotechnology industry.
