HST seeks proposals for Taplin Awards

The Taplin Awards Committee invites faculty in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology to submit proposals for the 1999-2000 John F. and Virginia B. Taplin Awards.

This year the committee is particularly interested in work that will build the infrastructure of HST, such as long-distance learning and communication and program development in biomedical engineering, bioinfor-matics, computational biology, rehabilitation medicine and cellular bioengineering.

Proposals should include a cover letter with contact information, a description of objectives and a two-page CV. They should be sent to HST, Rm E25-519, no later than April 23. Awardees will be announced at the HST graduation in June.

For more information, contact Carol Campbell at cac@mit.edu.
