Input sought on Toxicology-decision making process

A committee chaired by Professor Claude Canizares, director of the Center for Space Research, is seeking input on a possible move of the Division of Toxicology into the School of Engineering.

The committee was formed to review the process and procedures leading up to the move, in keeping with Section 1.32 of Policies and Procedures. The goal of the committee is to determine whether everyone affected by this administrative change is consulted and has had adequate opportunities to make their views known to the decision-makers.

Provost Vest has asked the committee to report to him by March 15. Anyone affected by the proposed move who has not yet been contacted and would like to comment on the fairness of the process may call or write Professor Canizares (x3-7501, crc@space.mit.edu), or one of the other panel members: Professor Earll Murman of aeronautics and astronautics (x3-3284, murman@mit.edu) or Professor Hartley Rogers of mathematics (x3-2681, rogers@math.mit.edu).
