The Bush Room recently reopened after months of renovations, the first for the room since the mid-1970s. Among the improvements are a new main entrance by the Lobby 10 elevator, a higher ceiling and lighter-colored walls, new furniture, improved ventilation, a relocated and enlarged kitchen, new audiovisual equipment, and new closets and more storage space.

Providing a finishing touch to the new decor are photographs by research scientist Felice Frankel (left). Discussing where to hang them are (from Frankel's left) architect Steve Mahler of Ellenzweig Associates Inc., who was responsible for the room's redesign; John Meneghini of Facilities; Diana Strange, secretary of the Alumni Association; and Susan Lester, associate secretary of the Corporation. Strange and Lester oversaw the refurbishment project. The renovation project was aided by a gift from Harold Brown (S.B. 1947).

The room is used for events and meetings, particularly relating to the Alumni Association and the Corporation. To reserve the room, call 253-8200.
