The 21st annual MIT Giving Tree program is underway, helping community members make the holiday season brighter for children in need throughout the Cambridge and Boston area.
The MIT Public Service Center and the Panhellenic Association work with 11 local social-service organizations to collect gift requests from more than 550 children. These wishes are then individually matched to a Giving Tree donor.
Gift requests can be picked up at the MIT Public Service Center through Dec. 13. In lieu of gifts, monetary donations are welcome.
