'Faculty' members sought for Charm School workshop

MIT faculty and staff members are invited to serve as "celebrity TAs" at IAP's Charm School on Friday, Feb. 1 for 20 minutes any time between noon and 4 p.m. for the perennially popular workshop "How To Tell Somebody Something They'd Rather Not Hear." This activity, mentioned last year in The New York Times and USA Today, was presented as a poster session at the US Department of Education's 15th Annual Meeting on Alcohol, Other Drug and Violence Prevention in Washington, D.C. in November.

"Celebrity TAs" will be invited to a short lunchtime or after-work practice session during the week before Charm School. Anyone interested should contact program coordinator Linda Noel at ldnoel@mit.edu. Indicate the hour-long block within which you could give 20 minutes.
