Rodney Brooks workshop

The academic work of Rodney Brooks will be celebrated with a workshop on Friday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wong Auditorium (Building E51). The workshop will feature senior researchers discussing the impact of Rod's research.

Speakers include Colin Angle (iRobot), Minoru Asada (Osaka University), Ruzena Bajcsy (University of California Berkeley), Rodney Brooks (Heartland Robotics), Henrik Christensen (Georgia Institute of Technology), Helen Greiner (ChPhy Works), Eric Grimson (MIT), Takeo Kanade (Carnegie Mellon University), Oussama Khatib (Stanford University), Tomas Lozano-Perez (MIT), Maja Mataric (University of Southern California), Matt Mason (Carnegie Mellon University), Rolf Pfeifer (University of Zurich), and Manuela Veloso (Carnegie Mellon University).

Registration for sessions only will be taken on a space-available basis, beginning at 8 a.m. on March 9 at the Ting Foyer, MIT Tang Center. On-site registration includes all sessions in the Wong Auditorium and coffee breaks. There is no cost to attend.
