Panel to discuss future of the Occupy movement

Debra Satz, director of the Stanford Ethics Center, will lead a discussion on the state and future of the Occupy movement as it enters its second year.

The event will take place on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 4:30 p.m. in 26-100.

Titled "Occupy the Future: Justice, Economics, Activism," the session will include the participation of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges, MIT Professor of Urban Studies and Planning J. Phillip Thompson and Occupy Boston organizer Nadeem Mazen.

The lecture is part of the Ideas Matter series, a joint project of Boston Review and MIT's Political Science Department that brings the magazine's writers together with other experts and practitioners for substantive debate.

It is free and open to the public, and will include a question-and-answer session.
