The Annual Hummus Taste Off

The MIT Hummus Experience began in 2008. Since then it has become an annual event and a highlight of MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP).

It might be the health trend or just pure curiosity which brings 150 people to the "Hummus Taste Off," a competition where students and professors sample and choose their favorite - from among different student hummus creations. The event is the culmination of a month filled with "hummus experiences," including two hummus-making classes and a tour to a local hummus factory.
