The David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT brings life scientists and engineers together to advance cancer research. In this symposium — which will feature a series of moderated panel discussions featuring top biologists, leading clinical experts, technologists and biomedical engineers — participants will learn how and why MIT researchers are opening a new front in the fight against this insidious disease.
Topics to be addressed include:
- What were the defining (and teaching) moments in the first three decades of “the war on cancer”?
- How is convergence changing the cancer research paradigm at MIT?
- What clinical results can we expect to come from the deployment of new approaches to cancer research?
The symposium will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the event website
