La Ronde

La Ronde is a comedy of lust and longing, with tragic overtones. Written by Arthur Schnitzer at the beginning of the last century, the play has been translated and adapted by Anna Kohler especially for MIT. With the help of today’s media, actors from other continents will, in a simulcast situation, perform in the show along with the MIT’s Dramashop actors. Performances will be live on stage, live on video, broadcast and multidimensional.

The play will take place nightly at 8 p.m. from April 7-9 and April 13-15 in Kresge Little Theater. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $6 for MIT students; they can be reserved at http://dramashop.mit.edu/tickets/.

The performance is funded in part by a grant from the Council for the Arts at MIT
