China in Development Conference

The China in Development Conference, now in its third year, is hosted annually by the MIT China Development Initiative. The goal of the conference is to share with the Greater Boston Community new ideas, research, trends and initiatives leading to the current and future rapid growth of Greater China.

The conference, composed of keynote speeches featuring leaders from business, academics, government and technology, will take place this year from March 30 to April 1. Registration is free to the general public.

The theme of China in Development 2010 is Emerging Opportunities. Now at the start of a new decade, the Greater China region is facing not only new challenges, but also new opportunities. From seeding domestic innovation, to expanding international relations, to shifting social trends, these opportunities will define the Greater China region for years to come. This year, the distinguished speakers each represent a facet of Greater China's development, together presenting an overview of the region's emerging opportunities.
