Sale of ceremony's flowers to benefit CSF

Flowers used to decorate the Commencement stage will be sold to the community as in years past. The sale will begin Friday at 4 p.m. in Killian Court. Geraniums, asters, New Guinea impatiens and daisies will be available at bargain prices. These flowers are donated by the Commencement Committee and proceeds of the sale benefit the MIT Community Service Fund.

Volunteers are needed to help move plants to the selling area, setup starting at 3:15 p.m., selling plants and general crowd control (be sure to wear gardening clothes). All volunteers receive a free plant. Call Melendy Barber at x2-1717 to volunteer.
