Credit union seeks donations of kids' books

The MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU) is now accepting donations of new and used children's books as part of a statewide effort organized by the Massachusetts Credit Union League's Social Responsibility Committee to put books in the hands of children who otherwise wouldn't have any. The campaign benefits shelters, hospitals, libraries and children's literacy programs as well as many other agencies that have requested assistance.

Books may be brought until April 30 to the credit union's office in Rm E19-437 from 8:30am-3pm. They will be donated to the Cambridge Family and Children's Services at 929 Massachusetts Ave. MITFCU's goal is to collect 1,000 new and used children's books.
