FACULTY MEETING

A regular meeting of the faculty will be held next Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 3:30 p.m. in Room 10-250. Agenda items will include:

  • Proposal to approve housekeeping changes to section 2.84 of Rules and Regulations of the Faculty, by Professor Graves.
  • Proposal to re-charter the Committee on Student Affairs, by Professor Graves.
  • Draft report of the Mental Health Task Force, by Professor Clay, Dr. Girard and Ms. Shavit.
  • Resolution on the death of Professor John M. Edmond, by Professor Prinn.
BLOOD DRIVE

An MIT blood drive that began Monday will continue today from noon to 6 p.m. and tomorrow (Sept. 13) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center's La Sala de Puerto Rico. See the blood drive web site for more information or to make an appointment.

ALZHEIMER'S WALK

The annual Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk will be on Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. (registration is at 9 a.m.). Participants will leave from Canal Park at the Cambridgeside Galleria. Anyone interested in forming a five-person team, joining a team or walking on your own, contact Judy Rauchwarger, co-chair for team recruitment, at x3-5749 or jrauch@mit.edu.
