MIT Faculty and Staff Directories and the Student Directories are now being distributed through the Institute's 37 distributed mail centers.
Student directories are being delivered to residence halls, fraternities, sororities and independent living groups. Students who live off campus may get copies by presenting ID at the Student Information Center in Room 7-121. Additional copies of either directory may be obtained by sending e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, specifying the number of copies required.
Both directory covers feature scenes from construction sites around campus. The architectural metamorphosis now under way will add nearly one million square feet to MIT's 154-acre campus and will rejuvenate many existing facilities. Laboratories will support emerging research demands. New residence halls and common spaces will inspire visionary collaboration, and the architecture itself will reinforce the forward-thinking spirit of the community it serves.
Photos for both covers were supplied by Teri Weidner, the manager of capital project communications. Tim Blackburn and John Kramer of the Publishing Services Bureau designed and produced the covers.
Old telephone directories and catalogues can be recycled by placing them in desk-side bins or in the blue-topped common-area bins. For more information about recycling, contact Kevin Healy at x3-6360 or email@example.com.
