70 PACIFIC ST.

As workers make utility connections, there may be dust, mud and noise. Also, traffic may be affected as steel is erected.

BUILDING 18

The corridors will be blocked at the bridge to Building 56, requiring pedestrians to use either the floor above or below the work area. Signs will be posted showing alternate pedestrian routes.

BUILDING NW30

The final steps on the renovation of the new graduate student dormitory are underway (see story on page 1).

MEDIA LAB ADDITION

Preparation for a temporary loading dock on Ames Street will require removal of some trees. They will be relocated on campus or returned to their original locations once construction of the new building is completed.

SIMMONS HALL

Concrete placement may generate noise and affect traffic.

SPORTS & FITNESS CENTER

Casting of floor slabs may cause dust and noise.

STATA CENTER

Installation of formwork, reinforcing steel, embedded plumbing and electrical conduit is continuing. Truck activity could disrupt vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

VASSAR STREET UTILITIES

Truck and machine work may limit parking and travel along Vassar Street. Machinery, backup alarms and jackhammers will cause noise in several areas.
