Sessions will provide more information about stock market and MIT 401(k)

In response to community members' concern about the effect of the stock market's volatility on the MIT Supplemental 401(k) Plan, Fidelity Investments and the Benefits Office will offer two information sessions.

Roland Jacobson, vice president of investment consulting for Fidelity Investments, will give an overview of the current markets, discuss them from an historical perspective and answer investment questions in two sessions planned for later this month -- April 19 from noon-1pm on the sixth floor of the Faculty Club and April 20 from noon-1pm in Killian Hall (Rm 14W -111).

Members of the community with questions are encouraged to attend these sessions. General information about the 401(k) Plan is available at the Benefits Office web site. Members can check on their investments on line or by calling Fidelity at (887) 648-7283 (MIT-SAVE).
