Shuttle increases frequency for winter

In anticipation of inclement winter weather, the Charles River Transportation Management Association and the Office of Parking and Transportation will resume the Tech Shuttle extra winter morning service.

Rides will be available every 10 minutes from 8am-11am, rather than the normal 20-minute waiting time between vehicles. Starting on Friday, Dec. 1, a maroon and white MIT SafeRide van will run the Tech route each morning, starting at the Kendall Square subway stop at five and 25 minutes past the hour. This supplements the service by the blue and white Paul Revere Transportation minibus, which starts from Kendall Square at 15, 35 and 55 minutes past the hour. See the shuttle web site for the complete schedule and a map of the stops.
