MIT Museum opens slogan contest

Think different ...Where do you want to go today? ...It's alive!

A successful slogan is an elusive linguistic confection that reinforces and enhances the identity of a product or company. The MIT Museum is launching a community-wide search for a slogan to reflect the museum's new focus as a showcase for MIT innovation. Because the museum represents the MIT community, Museum Director Jane Pickering wants to get the campus involved in the process.

The creator of the winning slogan will receive a $50 shopping spree in the Museum Shop.

Slogan suggestions may be sent to Kathleen Thurston-Lighty in Rm N52-260 or e-mailed to ktl@mit.edu by June 19.
