Civil Engineering rewards 5

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has awarded the following 1998 student prizes:

Katie J. Adams, a senior in civil engineering from Florence, VT, won the Steinberg Prize in recognition of high scholastic standing and demonstrable interest in the field of construction management.

The Richard Lee Russel Award in recognition of distinguished academic achievements went to Deborah Cheng, a senior in environmental engineering from Manila, Philippines; Nora A. Humphrey, a senior in civil engineering from Lexington, MA, and Heileen Hsu, a senior in environmental engineering from Pittsburgh, PA.

Steven C. Belin, a junior in civil engineering from Middletown, CT, won the Leo (1924) and Mary Grossman Award in recognition of high scholastic standing and interest in the field of transportation.
