Student art passes available

MIT students can take advantage of Boston's cultural scene thanks to the Council for the Arts at MIT.

The Council underwrites MIT's membership at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts so that MIT students can enjoy exhibitions and cultural programs at no cost. Member's passes are also available for free admission to the MFA for MIT faculty and staff.

The Council has also sponsored a program with the Boston Symphony Orchestra whereby MIT students can obtain free tickets, when available, for all open rehearsals (schedule varies), and all performances on Fridays at 1:30pm and Tuesdays at 8pm. To obtain a ticket, students must visit the Symphony Hall box office on the day of performance only and present a valid MIT ID; if the performance has not sold out, one ticket will be issued per ID.
